| Care |
All our animals receive as much basic care as possible and what is needed based on the animals age. This may include a bath, deworming, CPV/DHPP, FCRVP (cats), Bordatella, Rabies, Heartworm test, Heartworm treatment (Heartgard/Interceptor), Frontline/Revolution, Spay/Neuter, and Microchipping. |
Fees
|
Adoption fees are based on the amount of care provided at the time the animal is adopted or transfered to another rescue. Dogs and puppies range from $150 to $250; Cats/kittens range from $50 to $100. Rabbits/Guinea Pigs are $25. |
Need to know
|
Make sure you are ready to adopt by discussing this big step with the whole family. Does your schedule allow enough time to spend with your new companion? Afterall, they would be apart of your family. How will you care for your animal both on a daily basis and for all medical care (including that yearly exam, Frontline monthly, and preventive heartworm monthly)?
All animals at Harmony Rescue are "indoor" companions. This means that the animals spend the majority of their time with you, inside the house. We do recognize that there are some animals who do like the outdoors more. We will work with you to always find the right match; that is what it is always about. We network with many other rescue groups and will help you find the right companion. |

| Cat Family |
Harmony Rescue is caring for 14 cats. Their current owner inherited the family of 14 and looks to HR for their continued care. They now live in Kitty Castle 1 (catery) and have settled into their new environment. |
| Jack & Jenny |
Jack & Jenny came to us from Nelson County. Their owner could no longer care for them so they came to Harmony Rescue to hang out. Jack enjoys walking around on his new trimmed hoofs and is very proud of them. Jenny enjoys being the boss no matter what Jack does or says. |
| Maggie & BeBe |
Maggie & BeBe came to Harmony Rescue from a hoarder. They are the last of 8 who will live their lives out here. Maggie is the boss and loves to run. BeBE is content hanging out and eating the greener grass. |
| Lola, Tia, Joey |
Lola, Tia, and Joey are special needs dogs. Each has a very unique personality. They are all timid in the sense of taking time to trust. They will live their lives out with us unless they find the right owners. |
